Around 2003, God put a passion in the heart of Pastor Edward Griffith at Word of Life Assembly of God for a church-related school.  Parents desired a safe, Christian alternative to our public school systems in this area.  In August 2017, the Word of Life Christian Academy opened its door for the first time to be that alternative.  We are humbled by God’s calling on our church and our lives to be this community’s first K-12 Christian academy.  It is our mission to glorify God through training students academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially so each one can develop into successful adults who exhibit Christ’s character through love, wisdom, and compassion.

We require excellence from our students. Life is not easy on adults. In order for today’s student to succeed in life, he must be trained to think on his own and to be self motivated. Our individualized training puts your child on a path to set personal goals and to reach those goals. Most importantly, your child will be encouraged to learn Scripture and develop a personal relationship with Christ.
